Padel Points ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

The App collects the following information to provide its services:

• Apple Sign In: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier, and optionally your name and email address (if you choose to share them). We use this to create and manage your account.
• Player Name: A display name you choose or provide through Apple Sign In, used to identify you in games.
• Game Data: Match scores, point-by-point history, room codes, game settings, team assignment (blue/orange), and court position (left/right) are stored on our server.
• Health Data: If you use the Apple Watch companion app during matches, we collect heart rate, calories burned, steps, and distance data through Apple HealthKit. This data is only accessible to you and is never shared with other players or third parties.
• Device Information: Device type (iPhone/Apple Watch) and app version for compatibility and support purposes.
• Push Notification Token: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send game invitations and updates.

AI Coach Feature

The AI Coach feature uses your match data (scores, point patterns, health statistics, team position) to generate personalized coaching insights and training recommendations. This analysis is performed using a third-party AI service (Anthropic Claude API). The data sent to the AI service includes:

• Your match scores and point-by-point history
• Aggregated health statistics from your matches
• Your team position and play patterns
• Your optional profile information (skill level, play frequency)

The AI service processes this data to generate coaching feedback and does not retain your personal data after processing. AI-generated coaching cards are stored in your account for your reference.

Subscriptions and Payments

Padel Points offers an optional AI Coach subscription with the following terms:

• Pricing: Monthly ($1.99/month) or Yearly ($19.99/year) auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Free Content: Your first AI coaching analysis is free. A subscription is required for ongoing access to AI Coach features.
• Payment: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or any financial information.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple through their standard refund process.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect location data.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or ad tracking.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not collect financial or payment information directly.

Data Storage and Retention

Your account data, match history, and AI coaching cards are stored on our servers for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app, which will permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Data Security

All communication between the App and our servers occurs over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Authentication is handled through secure Bearer tokens. Health data is encrypted and only accessible to the authenticated user.

Apple Watch

The companion Apple Watch app communicates with the iPhone app using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework and with our server via HTTPS. Health data collected during matches (heart rate, calories, steps, distance) is private to each player - other players in the same match cannot see your health data.

Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the App (match history, health stats, AI coaching cards, profile).
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Delete Account.
• Portability: Your match history and coaching insights are viewable in the App at any time.
• Opt-out: You can disable push notifications and email updates from Settings. You can revoke HealthKit permissions from iOS Settings.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is a sports utility that requires Apple Sign In to function, which provides age verification through Apple's systems.

Terms of Use

By using Padel Points, you agree to the following terms:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
• We make no guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service. Score data may be lost due to network issues, server downtime, or device failures.
• AI Coach insights are generated by artificial intelligence and should be treated as suggestions, not professional coaching advice.
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the use of or inability to use the App.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice.
• You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt the server infrastructure or interfere with other users' games.

Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Padel Points shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy and terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
