Paddle Points ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

The App collects minimal information necessary to provide real-time score tracking:

• Player Name: A display name you choose when creating or joining a game. This is not linked to your real identity.
• Game Data: Match scores, room codes, and game settings are temporarily stored on our server during active games.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or personal identification.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not use analytics or tracking frameworks.
• We do not use advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

Data Storage

Game data is stored temporarily on our server for the duration of active matches. Match history may be retained for up to 24 hours after a game ends, after which it is automatically deleted. Player names are stored locally on your device using standard iOS preferences.

Network Communication

The App uses WebSocket connections to synchronize scores in real time between players. All communication occurs over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). No personal data is transmitted beyond your chosen display name and game actions.

Apple Watch

The companion Apple Watch app communicates with the iPhone app using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. No additional data is collected through the Watch app.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is a sports utility that does not require any personal information to function.

Terms of Use

Paddle Points is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. By using the App, you agree to the following terms:

• The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use for tracking padel match scores.
• We make no guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service. Score data may be lost due to network issues, server downtime, or device failures.
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the use of or inability to use the App.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
• You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt the server infrastructure or interfere with other users' games.

Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Paddle Points shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy and terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
